Our Team

In In today's environment of ever changing technology, it is simply impossible to run an optometric practice that remains on the forefront of our profession without outstanding well trained people. Our goal at Family Eyecare as stated in our mission statement is to provide the latest eye care technology and professional services. This means our staff must be trained and constantly retrained in new procedures, equipment, and products as technology evolves. Our staff is the best because they work at it. They are the backbone of our practice. They are extremely competent at what they do and just as important, they genuinely care about our patients. You probably know many of them by name and we are proud of every one of them!

With almost 35 years of combined experience, we can take care of all your family eye care needs.

Employed since 1993, Ginny is a Certified Paraoptometric.  Ginny works in our lab several days a week, she also assists patients in frame and lens selection and contact lens trainings, Ginny's responsibilities include ordering contact lenses and assisting at the front desk.

Employed since 1996, Denise, a Certified Paraoptometric, is in charge of our accounts payable. Her responsibilities also include front desk duties, contact lens training, frame and lens consultation and keeping the office lively.

Employed since 1999, Vicky is our insurance guru. If you have an insurance question she knows the answer. She is also responsible for managing patient accounts and making sure your insurance company has been billed correctly. Vickie, employed since 1999, is a ABOC, Certified Optician and is also our Office Manager.  Another of our versatile employees, she does patient pre-testing, assists patients in the dispensary with frame and lens selections and assists in the finishing lab where many of our lenses are ground. Johnna has been employed since 2000, Johnna is a Certified Paraoptometric. Her responsibilities include patient pre-testing, front desk duties, frame and lens consulting and also contact lens trainings.

Annie employed since 2007, works primarily in our insurance department. Annie is responsible for sending out our monthly statements and assists with our past due accounts. Annie also assists with frame and lens selections.

Cinnamon employed since 2007. Cinnamon is a Certified Paraoptometric and is responsible for patient pre-testing and other testing for the Doctors, she also has front desk duties and assists patients with frame and lens selections.

Melissa, ABOC, Certified Optician, has worked for Family Eyecare Associates for 15 years. Melissa's duties include, managing and working in the optical lab, Glaucoma testing, contact lens trainings, and assisting patients with their frame and lens selections. Jennifer, newly employed in 2008, works primarily at our front desk but, she also assists in contact lens trainings, frame and lens selections for our patients and is responsible for sending out our patient recalls.

Tessa joined our staff in October of 2011.  She is one of our team of pretesters and also works at the front desk helping patients with frame selections, scheduling appointments and adjusting and dispensing glasses.
